DESCRIPTION:“As iron sharpens iron\, so one person sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17 NIV) \n2024 Theme: Framing Difficult Conversations in a Time of Fear\nThe event is free\, but registration is required:\nTo register to attend\, click here.\nEvent Purpose:\nTo strengthen alumni ties through a showcase of notable �鶹��Ƶ clergy experiences. Speakers and panelists will talk about key topics in their field of ministry from a personal perspective\, opening the door for networking\, mentorship\, and collaboration through sharing of mutual experiences. This form of exposition also aims to raise the profile of �鶹��Ƶ by demonstrating the effective work of its alumni/ae in real-life ministry settings. \nIntended Audience: \n\n�鶹��Ƶ Alumni\n�鶹��Ƶ Current Students\nLocal Clergy\n\nTopics include: \n\nHandling Difficult Conversations as a Clergy Leader\nRace & Gender Nuances in Difficult Conversations\nEngaging in Interfaith Conversations\nPractical Approaches to Uncomfortable Conversations\n\nStructure: \nOpening chapel session followed by 4 workshop presentations throughout the day. Each session consists of 45 mins of presentation time with 15 mins of Q&A.  Additional time for in-person and online networking should be available after / between sessions.  Each session will have 1-3 speakers\, plus a moderator to guide the conversation. \nSchedule for the day (The zoom portion starts at 10:00 am): \n9:00 am – 9:30 am – Registration\n9:30 am-9:50 am – Opening Worship\n10 am-11 am – Race & Gender with President Micah McCreary & Dr. Beth L.
