McCreary discuss Speaking Truth to Power: Bonhoeffer and King.
About the speakers:

Dr. Stephan P. McKinney
Dr.ÌýMcKinney is primarily a teaching pastor. He self-consciously stands in theÌýactivist-intellectual tradition of black preachers/pastors who embodiedÌýacademic excellence, moral clarity,Ìýintegrity in the pulpit, and a commitmentÌýto social justice, e.g. Vernon Johns, Samuel DeWitt Proctor, Wyatt Tee Walker,Ìýetc.
Dr. McKinneyÌýis a 1990 graduate of Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, where he wasÌýa perennial member of the Dean’s List. He is a 1994 graduate ofÌýAndover NewtonÌýTheological School in Boston, MA, where he was a Northern Baptist EducationÌýSociety Scholar and a Kelsey-Owens Fellow; and a 1998 and 2002Ìýgraduate of DrewÌýUniversity in Madison, New Jersey, where he earned two additional master’sÌýdegrees. In May, 2010, Dr. McKinney took his earned Doctor ofÌýPhilosophy degreeÌýin the Sociology of Religion, also from Drew University.
ÌýDr. McKinneyÌýwas ordained to Christian ministry in 1998 by the civil rights icon and PastorÌýEmeritus of the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ, the Rev. Dr. Wyatt TeeÌýWalker.ÌýHe is a member of the Executive Committee of ABC Metro NY, currently serving asÌývice-president of the board. He was also a member of the 2014-15ÌýsearchÌýcommittee that found the current Regional Minister of ABC Metro, the Rev. Dr.ÌýCheryl F. Dudley, the first woman to head the region in its 200-plus-yearÌýhistory. Dr. McKinney is a past board member of both the Mount Morris ParkÌýCommunity Improvement Association and the Marcus Garvey Park Alliance. He hasÌýpreached in Africa, Europe, and throughout North America.Ìý
Rabbi Bennett F. Miller
Rabbi Bennett F. Miller, a native of Rochester, N.Y., is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He earned a Master of Arts and Hebrew Letters from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati where he was ordained a Rabbi in 1974. He also earned his doctorate from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1988. In March, 1999 heÌýwas awarded a Doctor of Divinity Degree from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. In 2008, Rabbi Miller earned a certificate in Non-Profit Management andÌýFund Raising from New York University.

Rabbi Miller serves as Senior Rabbi of Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He has been associated with Anshe Emeth since 1974. Founded in 1859,ÌýAnshe Emeth is the third oldest congregation in New Jersey. Before coming to Anshe Emeth, he was the spiritual leader of Congregation Havurah in Buffalo, N.Y. and the NewÌýJersey State Advisory Council on the Holocaust.
In October 2012, Rabbi Miller was elected to serve as the national Chair of the Association of Reform Zionists of America (ARZA). ARZA is the Zionist arm of the ReformÌýMovement of North America. In his capacity as Chair, Rabbi Miller represents a membership of nearly 25,000 Zionists in Reform Congregations throughout the United States.ÌýRabbi Miller also serves on the Board of Governors of the Jewish Agency for Israel.
