DESCRIPTION:View the Convocation service here: \n\n\n\nYou are invited to our opening event for our 2022-2023 academic year! \nThe day begins at 11:00 am (eastern) with our Academic Convocation service.\nΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ alumna Rev. Caffie Risher will be our Convocation speaker\, and will be preaching from Isaiah 43:19. The sermon theme is: Do you not perceive it? \nFollowing the Convocation service\, we will have a community β€œGathering on the Green.” This will be a time of fun\, fellowship\, music\, refreshments\, grilling\, and activities for children! Β  Co-sponsored by ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅\, SSIM\, and the ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ Alumni Association. \nThe cookout will include: Hamburgers\, hot dogs\, and a vegetarian option. We will do cold salads (potato\, pasta\, coleslaw) and chips. For desserts: cookies or brownies.
